“For the love of our ‘āina! We need to mālama her, nurture her, be there for her.”
Eat More Veg‘āina

“More veggies from the ‘āina.. Definitely a conversational piece.. they say veg’āina is good for your health.. take it as you please but ultimately we are promoting sustainability and knowing where our food comes from... And hey... why not start with your garden so you too can eat more veg’āina.”

“Growing up on Moloka‘i, there was no Costco, Natural Foods, etc. this is the kinda of stuff we did, gathering food from the ‘Āina. Not only did we gather but we learned to prepare it as well. Teaching the next generation to be subsistent and gathering food from the land and ocean not over harvesting so that they’ll be food for years to come and appreciating your meal and all the hard work put into it from start to finish. That’s what eating more veg’āina is all about.”
